In January of 2014 Bethel Baptist Chapel voted to call me as their pastor. I am honoured to serve in this position in a chapel with such a tremendous heritage. I was born in Washington, D.C. in the United States and have been living in Wales since 2011 with my wife, Mary.  Our daughter lived with us for several years before heading to the States to complete her college degree.  We also have two sons who live in the United States.  Since coming to Wales, Mary and I have taken on the challenge of learning Welsh. We enjoy the challenge and meeting other Welsh learners through it.

Prior to coming to Bethel Baptist Chapel, Mary and I served at Bethel Baptist Church in Llay for two years where I was the youth minister. We started a regular weekly youth club called Fantastic Friday to reach the young people of Llay with the gospel.

The goal of our ministry in Holywell is to preach and teach the Bible and share the hope which is only found in Jesus Christ! I first came to know the Lord in 1981 after a friend shared Jesus Christ with me. I was amazed to learn of a God who loved each and every one of us so much that He would send His Son to die in our place for the sins we have committed. We just need to receive it by faith. I pray that you consider that and search out these truths for yourself.
